Artwork Guidelines
Taylor Made Labels provides private label and custom-labeled water bottles for advertising and public relations campaigns, parties, and special events! We want to help you create a great-looking label for your bottles and comply with FDA guidance. Below are our simplified guidelines to assist you in creating your water bottle label. These guidelines are determined by the Food And Drug Administration. As such, they are non-negotiable. AVAILABLE LABEL SIZES
Our 12 oz. & 16.9 oz water bottle label size is 2" x 7" with 1/8" corner radius. Please note that if your artwork bleeds off the edges you will need to allow 1/8" around all edges for bleed.
REQUIRED INFORMATION
The following items are required by the Food And Drug Administration and must be present on all water bottle labels:
1. You must display your "Distributed By" information: Name, complete address with city, state and zip and phone number or website. Distributor information must be no less than 1/16" tall.
2. You must display a statement of identity. In this case it’s “Artesian Water”. Artesian water’s font size must be at least 1/2 the size of the largest font used, and it must be no less than 1/8" tall. For example, if the largest font used in your design is 100 pts then artesian water must be a minimum of 50 pts. .
3. You must have a net weight statement. 12 fl. oz. (354 mL) or 16.9 fl oz. (500 mL) depending the size of the bottle you plan to use. The net weight statement must be at least 1/8” tall. It must be in the bottom third of the label and must be on the main display panel.
